 Radio station KMOK is far from OK. Of the three radios stations serving the Tulsa area in 1949, it ranks fourth in popularity.

Shows such as the “Cowpoke Comedy Cavalcade” and “The Tulsa Shadow” aren’t able to compete with this new-fangled invention called television that just started broadcasting in town.

And now comes word that the station’s major sponsor is planning to move all its business to the new TV station.

American Theatre Company takes a great deal of pride in the fact that, with the exception of the source material, its annual holiday production of “A Christmas Carol” is an all-Tulsa creation.

The script and the songs were written by ATC founding members Bob Odle and Richard Averill, the show’s set was designed by Richard Ellis, and the costumes were designed by Jo Wimer.

The problem isn’t what we talk about when we talk about the problems and challenges that public schools, teachers and students must face.

The problem, according to the title of Rodney L. Clark’s latest play, is that “All We Ever Do Is Talk About It.” Theatre North will present the play this weekend at the Tulsa PAC.
