SummerSTARS allows children to explore the wonder of theatre and the excitement of acting. Children will learn the basic foundations of physical and vocal acting skills, improvisation and character development through interactive games and activities.

TU Theatre Presents "Little Shop of Horrors" | Public Radio Tulsa

Our guest on ST is Gary John LaRosa, who will be the guest director for a new production of "Little Shop of Horrors" that the University of Tulsa's Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre will soon present at the Lorton Performance Center on the TU campus.

Tulsa Central Junior High & Fine and Performing Arts Magnet High School offers thirty-two Fine and Performing Arts courses, including four Pre-AP and AP Studio Art Classes, and twelve additional Pre-AP and AP Core Curriculum courses. Our mission is to make the arts a tool for strengthening the character of each of our students. Students study in the areas of dance, theatre, vocal, instrumental, arts management, and visual arts. The school additionally employs Artists-In-Residence from the community to enhance and enrich the educational experiences of our students.

Clark Theatres to Hold Summer Theatre Camps

Clark Theatres will hold a series of Theatre Camps over Summer 2012 at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center. This is a great opportunity for children ages 8 (must have completed 2nd grade) to 14 who are interested in getting involved in theatre. The camp includes classes on acting, dancing, and other performance skills.
